Whiplash Review comment
This is on top of my list for 2014 movies I still need to see - despite all the other acclaimed movies I have yet to watch (Birdman, Theory of Everything, Imitation Game) this is the one that stands out. If you like College Humor - check out the Weird Al / Whiplash mashup - I promise, you will laugh your butt off.

I also read in the IMDB trivia for Saving Mr. Banks that they precisely measured Tom Hanks' mustache to make sure it was the exact same length and that in the scene where he's interrupted while smoking, he wasn't shown actually smoking just putting out the cigarette - all to preserve the image.

Sharknado... I was over at David Barry's for our weekly Hell's Kitchen getogether and watched about oh, five or so minutes of it. I think, as expressed so eloquently in Billy Madison, I grew dumber just from seeing it. But I will still add it for you!

Honestly it is not nearly as good as there will be blood. I would wait on it unless you love incredible acting with a weak meandering story.

Yeah I can see that. I think the violence is OK to me because it is realistic. Great soundtrack too.
