Batman Review comment
I think its best to look at this as a stand alone Batman movie. Sure its not on par with the Nolan films, but its a great comic book film and a nice piece of nostalgia. I'd recommend you give it another try.

Don't get me wrong, man, I love Memento all the same. I just watched some movies again and realized that I've loved Pulp Fiction, BTTF, Psycho, and Big Lebowski since I was really young. I only saw Memento last year. I still think its Nolan's masterpiece and my favorite film of the decade, but Pulp Fiction is a movie I can watch any day and never get bored. I can quote a good majority of it word for word. Plus, its everything I love. Its action, drama, comedy, and crime all mixed in one. But …

You will not be dissapointed with City of God, Sin City, Into the Wild, Scott Pilgrim, Unforgiven, Shutter Island, Expendables, American Psycho, Machete, Up in the Air, or District 9. Each of those films are great.
