My Neighbor Totoro ( Tonari no Totoro ) Review comment

As a avid Miyazaki fan I recommend all his films - if like Totoro, definitely check out Ponyo and The Secret World of Arrietty.

Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke are also very well done (Mononoke is a bit more adult than his other films).

And finish up with Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (earlier films, but still very good). If you want a stark contrast to the usual style, I also highly recommend Grave of the Fireflies - …

The Judge Review comment

I need around 2 weeks before I decide to watch this movie, just because i used to watch Robert Downey Jr for action movies. So I didnt expect anything except watching his "face" along movie.
But this movie definitely out of what I expected, Robert definitely changed into drama actor. I really love to watch some scene that made him cry in "man version". And the important thing from the movie is the chemistry about the Hank Palmer and his father. Their expression when …

Left Behind Review comment

Damn, I was hoping for a "so bad it's good" kind of movie (ala Wicker Man) but apparently this movie is just plain bad - as in unwatchable bad. I never thought it was going to be good or anything, but I at least wanted it to be entertaining. I'll just forget about this one.

The Maze Runner Review comment

Thanks for the review! I was going to go see it today, but I decided to go see A Walk among the Tombstones instead. Maybe I'll catch a "matinee" later this week.

Good review. This one has been on my imaginary "To Watch" list for a while, and you just bumped it up a few spots.

Machete Kills Review comment

I get what you're saying but, of course, the over-the-top action and acting is exactly what the film is about. Much like Tarantino which would explain why he and Rodriguez are friends.

The Grand Budapest Hotel Review comment

Whenever I watch a Wes Anderson movie I for one enjoy seeing the cameos. Even if they aren't the stars of the movie you know that one or both of the Wilson brothers, for example, will show up somewhere. It becomes a I Spy game of sorts while your watching the movie.
