The film is certainly good at capturing that moment - from the music to the technology - but aside from that, it lacks depth of character and whiplashes from quippy humor to bloody violence very fast. That being said, props to not playing it safe and killing off people I thought would be a bigger part of the whole and the Fred Durst appearance was a nice touch. Overall, not great but worth a fun watch, especially if you actually remember Y2K when it happened.

Neat in spots, but "Y2K" is mostly just an assortment of parts that are pretty plain and the movie as a whole is just that.
