Plot: Tashi was once one of the fastest-rising stars of the tennis world - and in the middle of it all finds herself caught between budding tennis players Art and Patrick. Smart, sexy and technically impressive - the chemistry between Zendaya, Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor is palpable - and the synth-pumping score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross adds to the surprisingly thrilling tennis action - as well as the more intimate scenes. Though it can lean a bit into the melodramatic this is still an outstanding showcase for all involved.

"Challengers" is a challenging film for sure. It's meandering and convoluted, but also riveting for its showcase of top-notch performances, electric visual style, and juicy love triangle plot that marries power dynamics melodrama to a sports metaphor about determination.
