Plot: Dr. Alithea Binnie is an academic and a solitary creature of reason. On a trip to Istanbul for a conference she meets a man who claims to be a Djinn and offers three wishes in exchange for freedom. While visually stunning - especially in the flashback sequences - the combination of Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba is just a very odd pairing. Still, George Miller proves once again he has a flair for the unique and this is definitely unlike anything else out there.
