Visually arresting historical adventure about two plucky aviators using a hot air balloon to explore the upper reaches of the atmosphere. In the 1800s so it's extremely dangerous! Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne have this 'opposites attract' chemistry down pat so they're both good. The movie goes by at a fast pace w/o overstaying its welcome. The CGI for the balloon scenes are stunning.

Although it slows down a bit more than it should, "The Aeronauts" is a Jules Verne-style adventure that happens to be somewhat based in fact.
