The documentary-style of this movie adds to the reality of this effiiciently-told sci-fi thriller. The SmokeScreeners rating is 4 Butts, based mostly on the tobacco-use by the team before they are quarantined. www.smokescreeners.org.

It looks dated now, but Andromeda Strain is still a pretty taught sci-fi thriller. There are some pacing problems, but the story and characters keep this one going.
