Wacky take on a Jekyll and Hyde premise. A super awkward nerd professor changes into a super cool ladykiller to win over a college chick. I like that the plot is simple. Lewis's badly stereotypical nerd character is alright. He manages some sympathy through understated means. I enjoyed his suave alter-ego much more. It's a different persona than his usual schtick and he nails it. A fine kooky comedy.

This is zany to a tee - Jerry Lewis may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he's perfect in the title role. This and The Absent Minded Professor would make a great double bill. A lot of fun, a lot of charm and just a good family film.
