This movie felt really strange in a world with out men. this movie is pretty much these boring women talking about, "how good it is to be single". yeah, yeah who cares.

Saw this with the wifey and was curious how the popular cast would fair. Screenplay and pace were dull and its topic on marriage and friendship were nothing fresh. Had a few laughable scenes (such as the scene stealing child birth sequence with Messing). Jada Pinkett Smitth's character was underutilized and the overall film was leaning towards women, as the title suggests. Meg Ryan always gets roles such as this movie and Anette Bening always gives her best no matter how coy the figure she portrays. Behind the scenes feature was interesting and soundtrack felt forced. The Women is a "so-so" comedy mixed with drama involving infidelity and sticking with your friends.

This movie was so boring we didn't even watch all of it. I really did not see it getting any better if we kept watching. I do respect a movie that has a cast of only women and this movie had some of my favorite actresses, but wow how dissapointing.
