Softcore safari smut

Yeah this is pretty terrible but it's interrupted by a naked Bo Derek. Richard Harris is out of control as her unhinged father who's hunting Tarzan. There is so much slow-motion that the movie would probably be shortened by a full half-hour. The location footage of Sri Lanka is beautifully shot though. And it's kind of interesting to see a modern film using real life lions and elephants instead of CGI ones. But that cannot excuse the nonsensical editing and sound mixing. The movie literally begins with a conversation not matching the action between two characters that we never even see onscreen. The title is really misleading as this is 90% a movie about Jane, not Tarzan who is almost like an extra in his own movie. No surprise that this was a big hit back in 1981 since Bo Derek gets …
