I agree with serioussir. I love these 80 teen movies, but this one is seriously lacking. Molly Ringwald was boring and unoriginal, and the storyline was just blahh. And how did it get from a 'romantic comedy' to a gangster crime movie? That was totally random and I did not like it at all. So anyways what James Toback should do it step away from this genre, and leave people who know their brat-pack/80's teen movies to work at improving them even further, rather than just ruining them.

Although I am a huge fan of the Brat Pack and 80s teen films in general, I hated this one. Lousy story and bad acting with no redeeming qualities.
