Eleven-year-old North has had it with his parents. They are always busy with their careers and don't give North the attention he needs, so he files a lawsuit against them. The judge rules that North should either find new parents or return to his own parents within two months. Thus north starts off on a journey around the world to find the parents that really care about him. This movie is racist, horrible, Bad taste in jokes and finally roger Ebert already said that one line that he said that I would have said and that is "I hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it".

A very heart-warming twist to the idea concerning what we decide we deserve and how much we misinterpret what we really have. Elijah Wood is a great young actor, holding his own against Bruce Willis, Jason Alexander, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus with comedic fervor. The entirety of the film is absurd, ridiculous, and outrageous, thus its charm. My main love about this film is that I grew up watching it and everything nostalgic is everything I am.

Too adult to be a kids film, too silly and stupid for adults and all around just a bad film. Elijah Wood's low point and not much better for most others involved. The really telling sign this is a bad film? No DVD release in sight.
