Hilariously stupid movie that feels like a bad video game and packed with all the worst sword-&-sorcery cliches. The best and worst part about it was not the action or special effects (not that they were great). But it was actually the incredibly bad casting. With some exceptions. Jason Statham, Ron Perlman, and John Rhys-Davis get off the hook. But not Ray Liotta or Burt Reynolds or Matthew Lillard who are all wildly miscast.

The story is about a man sets out to save his kidnapped wife and avenge his child's murder to save her from the evil animal warriors who leader happens to be Gallian. Fantasy. This movie is dreadful and dull with no heart or soul.

A truly awful fantasy movie in every sense possible. If you are a fantasy fan like me, you will want to vomit about two scenes into this movie. The worst, and most laughable of all, is a horribly miscast Ray Liotta as a "gangster" sorcerer. The movie also features horrific direction by Uwe Boll, confusingly dull action scenes, awful special effects and a mumbling, incoherent hero in Jason Stratham.

When tree elf people show up in green jogging pants and every plastic sword on screen simply starts bending in the wind you know you're in for a bad movie. Then, Burt Reynolds shows up as a king and Ray Liotta stands in some kind of mystical tornado while constantly laughing. There's also goblins and trolls, but their mouths don't move because of the large plastic masks they're all wearing.

Horrible dialogue, two-dimensional characters, lousy cinematography, cheesy effects and a plot which is nearly impossible to care about makes this one worth skipping. I have sworn that I won't watch a Boll movie again, they've proved to be a waste of time and money even if its in the shape of a $1 pirated DVD. Never buy,rent, download or even think of borrowing it from a friend. Its a waste, and a huge one too. Also be advised never to watch a Boll movie again, its enough already.
