Even if you consider this a homage as opposed to a straight-up remake, this just feels underwhelming and, honestly, too clinical. There is not emotional spark - not between husband and wife (Raúl Castillo and Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and not from nanny from hell (Maika Monroe). It's just too lifeless to be fun or thrilling.

Ok is all I have to say! The 1992 original with Rebeca De Mornay and Annabelle Scorra is a master piece of cinema! The remake has none of the charm of its predisecor and it falls a little flat
