If this truly is the end of this timeline and Tobin Bell as Jigsaw, with a reboot likely to happen, then it concluded on a high note. Imagine if it had ended with Jigsaw or Spiral? That would have been disappointing.

Subverting the old "Saw" template isn't enough to make it good. "Saw X" isn't interesting enough character or story-wise to justify sitting through all the grueling torture.
