It's perfectly fine - nothing big, new or exciting - just some classic tension, an ugly gremlin and a fair bit of blood at the end. Yes, the film strains credibility, but I don't think realism is the focus, but I did enjoy the twist midway through. Chloë Grace Moretz does most of the heavy lifting here (as it's mainly her stuck in the bottom gunwell for a good 2/3 of the film) and makes for a decently compelling character, even if the film tries a bit too hard to push the female empowerment angle. Overall, a fine mix of action and horror, just don't expect it to rock your world.

Weird but entertaining mix of action, horror, and gender politics. All taking place several thousand feet in the air aboard a rickety WW2 bomber plane. The gremlin monster is mostly a good effect.
