A decent if a bit too by-the-books thriller. Michael Ealy and Hilary Swank make for a fine pair of leads, even if they could have used a bit more heat between them. Has enough twists and turns to keep things interesting, but not enough to truly stand out from the crowd.

Hilary Swank chews the scenery as a ruthless cop that seduces a married man ( Michael Ealy) and ensnares him in a web of lies. The tone and atmosphere both harken back to 1990s thrillers and the acting’s pretty good. But the film’s more lurid content is not quite as steamy as it aims to be.
