More bombastic and exciting than the otherwise enjoyable predecessor, Jumanji: The Next Level is an imaginative and heartwarming adventure. The action scenes are a huge improvement and even the cgi for the different creatures looks very good for a family movie. The body swapping gimmick is used to great comedic effect this time too.

If you liked Welcome to the Junge, you'll like this sequel just as much. Besides, watching Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart channel Danny DeVito and Danny Glover respectively is worth the price of a rental. Throw in Awkwafina (also channeling Danny DeVito!) and Rory McCann (aka The Hound from Game of Thrones) and the returning cast - it's all fun and games - until some pecked to death by an Ostrich.
