What a terrific Wonder Woman origin story! This early DCU animation encompasses all the best aspects that the brand offers. It boasts a perfect blend of exciting action, fluid animation, solid characters and storytelling, smart humor, and adult themes. An awesome concoction of non-stop high caliber entertainment! The one aspect that easily earns the coveted rating is the handling of the subject of gender views. The often forced stereotypes are broken in a mature manner. It neither praises nor condemns any ideologies. It merely represents the opposing viewpoints and finds a compromise through great character dialogue. This makes the Wonder Woman character one of the best female role-models I've seen in a LONG time.
