Tough-guys tale about a Canadian trapper (Bronson) being hunted by the Mounties (led by Lee Marvin) for a crime he didn't commit. Very loosely inspired by the Albert Johnson manhunt in 1930s Canada, the movie literally cuts to the chase knowing viewers are there for the action and manly camaraderie. Bronson and Marvin are pretty good. Angie Dickinson plays a part that could had been done by anyone really though.
