Not a suspenseful thriller but still well handled enough and anchored by Dick Powell's no-nonsense performance. It's a bit interesting for its forward-thinking take on the police procedural with the plot taking us to China, Egypt, and Cuba. But while there are questionable characters in each location, the movie seems to promote international cooperation between various nationalities in those same locations.
