A recently-deceased married couple (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) are unhappy with the new owners of their New England home (Jeffrey Jones, Catherine O'Hara and Winona Ryder). After trying and failing to scare them away, they call on a demonic spirit named Betelgeuse (Beetlejuice) (Michael Keaton) to do the job for them. Needless to say, they get more than they bargained for.
A ghost couple try to scare the new homeowners away. Beetle juice, Michael Keaton, teaches the ghosts how to scare them.
