Everything about "All the Real Girls" feels organic. The dialogue is delivered so naturally by actors whose characters feel straight from real life.

I didn't know what this movie was going to be about before I watched it so I'm not really sure what I was expecting. All the Real Girls has a lot of shots of little mundane pieces of life and snippets of conversations and rollings hills and skies. Working class world, callused hands, the kind of awkward starts of romance that lead to secrets and crying. I wasn't really a fan, I didn't hate it but I don't know if I would sit through this one again.

Unfortunately, I didn't like this much as I could have. It was like George Washington, but instead of black kids it featured white teenagers as characters. But it was the same thing and I really didn't like it. I usually like Zooey Deschanel. She was ok in this, but I just didn't connect with it.

Anyone who thinks crap like Garden State are realistic portraits of being young and in love and growing up or anything like that needs to watch this and understand how incredibly wrong they really are.
