Retains some of the worthy satire of the original and is a better than the second in the series but is sadly lacking in every technical department that matters. For a film with a 20 million dollar budget the CG effects are laughable, resembling a 90's video game more than anything else. Worth a look for curiosities sake. If nothing else it makes you wish Verhoeven was still making films.

This movie was clearly not as good as the first one, but it still had some decent action and some humorous news broadcasts that made the first one great. Some of the acting and dialog was absolutely horrible. I wouldn't be sad if Marnette Patterson was never in another movie again. She was far too annoying to have any role in anything that isn't on WB (or whatever they call it now). Asides, from her terrible acting, Casper Van Dien played Johnny Rico again, and wasn't too bad. I would have liked a bit more action, and less trying to make it an interesting plot. Anyone that is seeing this movie isn't seeing it because they expect the story to stand out, they just expect some laughs and some bug death.
