Woody's style is so distinctive and distinguished, and this film surely does not disappoint. Penelope and Javier both make this film vivacious and charming, I can't imagine the movie without them because they kept me mesmerized and wanting to know more about their characters. I liked this film a lot more than I thought I would. The cinematography was great and Woody really depicts an entertaining film for both men and women. two thumbs up from me!

"Vicky Cristina Barcelona" was as heartfelt and hilarious as it was straightforward and tragic. The story of two girls who venture to Spain, though sisters at heart, could have no greater differences between them when it came to love. Vicky is sensible and realistic while Cristina is wild and passionate, always putting her heart on the line. When they fall for the same man, they realize that they are not so different. Especially when the man's ex-wife tries to kill herself and comes to live with him. The complications ensue and resolve to a wonderful, heartwarming tale of love and loss. A true story about honesty and the raw fact that what makes us different, makes us the same.
