Kirk Douglas is fine but the movie around him is just mediocre.

Kirk Douglas is a always good in my opinion. So if you like the senior Mr. Douglas, you'll like this film. He plays a recovering alcoholic, who got an offer to go be in a film being made in Italy be his old director played by Edward G. Robinson. not the greatest film, but definitely worth a watch.
