There are some nice quiet moments in this uneven drama, like M. Emmet Walsh finding his comeback and thanking Angarano at the computer, and it's nice to see the elderly movie crew taking part, but lead Christopher Plummer is such a rancorous jerk for 80% of the film, it's hard to find much sympathy for him by the end and a couple of the subplots could've easily gone (saving the dogs, the school bully, the evil stepfather.) Final Grade: C
