A worthy subject marred by poor storytelling that not so much insults your intelligence, as assumes you don't have any. Kevin Kline slums it amidst the gaffes and coincidences, which pile up and destroy any credibility the story may once have had. This may be an independent film but the Hollywood formula is adhered to vigorously, nowhere more so than the neatly done and dusted ending.
