Plot: In 1909 Denmark sends an expedition to Denmark in order to disprove the U.S. claim to Greenland. Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen and an inexperienced crew member, Iver Iversen leave the ship behind and take a sled out on their own. While they manage to complete their goal, the trip back proves much more challenging and despite surviving, they arrive back at the ship to find it encased in ice and abandoned, leading to an even greater challenge. -- Chris Kavan
