Plot: This 1984 documentary film is a glimpse into the world of New York's graffiti and early hip-hop culture. Interviews with former mayor Ed Koch, as well graffiti artists, art critics, break dancers, subway maintenance workers and various other New York residents, Style Wars gives insight into the minds of graffiti artists, why they do what they do, and what social function their actions might serve.
