The movie is about true life story of Scottish criminal Paul Ferris. The swearing was bountiful and characters just unlikable. It's funny how references from The Godfather and Goodfellas were utilized instead of having it's own identity. Soundtrack was good but the pacing somewhat dreary. It lacks that certain charm unlike Donnie Brasco, a well executed/acted film where one empathizes with the characters involved. The artists here tend to get carried away with the roles and the violence depicted tried to be artistic but just plain too violent. Its chronology of the lead figure added to the confusion of the plot. Nothing memorable and interesting worth liking. In summary, the title itself is horrible and the violence just over emphasized instead of focusing on Paul Ferris himself. Worth viewing for those enamored with the history of crime figure's. Would have been nice if it had more to offer for its genre.
