Unlike the usual political thriller, this film delves more deeply into the emotional psyche of the inhabitants of a fear-based political culture. The film is an interesting meditation on the ebb and flow of cowardice and bravery displayed in fascism and contains a solid and ambiguously thought-provoking ending.
