Set in 9/11 attack in New York, Oskar Schell finds a key on the closet of his father who died on the tragedy. Believing that this key would lead him to something that his father wanted to tell him, he explores the states to find the lock it would open.

I was not expecting much from this movie before actually seeing it. But the moment I saw the first shot of the film, it pulled me in instantly to the mystery and drama of this kid whom I do not recognize to any other film I have watched. Obviously, the story did not come cheap and very shallow, attacking from the set-up of the infamous 9/11 attack in New York. Actors, of course delivered well despite the fact that these were not the best performances of Hanks and Bullock, still they deliver well enough.
I love the whole picture in a sense that "nothing" is really happening due to the mysterious feel of the movie but it appears that every scene make sense as emotions and thoughts of every characters solidly creates a good flow of story.
Well done film! A must watch!
