Yorgos Lanthimos continues to just make films no one else can. Jesse Plemmons and Aidan Delbis plan to kidnap a high-ranking CEO in Emma Stone's Michelle, with plans to expose her as a high-ranking member of an alien group bent on mankind's destruction. The film plays out like a fever dream - and every part is perfection. Is it almost too overly weird for its own good? Almost but it goes from 0 to 100 real fast towards the end and then hits you with a gut punch. If you're already familiar with Lanthimos, this is a must watch.
