Fear Street: Prom Queen

Fine for what it is - a throwback slasher with plenty of gruesome kills and a predictable twist. I with they had done more with the 80s setting that, aside from the music and some posters, seems wasted. Acting was decent all around with plenty of spot-on clique characters, even if they don't get into much depth. Also nice to see some bigger names like Katherine Waterston, Lili Taylor and Ariana Greenblatt in some killer supporting roles. While it doesn't do much to elevate the horror genre, it is a fun watch that doesn't skimp on the blood.
