"Family Plot" would likely be even more forgotten than it already is if it wasn't a Hitchcock picture (this was the director's very last one, in fact). It's a little outdated for something that came out the same year as thrillers like "Taxi Driver" and "All the President's Men." But there's fun to be had in seeing the Master of Suspense work within the confines of its quaint premise and elements of dark comedy.
