Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

I Might Just Have to Invite Myself to This Dinner

I thought this movie was going to be a drag but I was pleasantly surprised. Although much didn't happen in terms of action and drama, I think it was the pure emotion of all of the characters that kept this movie going. Watching racially based movie made in the 60s is a lot different than one that was made now. Back then discrimination was so public and real, and the actors were truly living in their roles. It was just interesting to watch how that all played out. Also, all of the actors did such incredible jobs individually. I was highly impressed by all of them. And I just have to comment on Katharine Houghton's transatlantic accent...brilliant. This was a really good movie.
