Nuke the earth's core ... sounds good to me

One of my favorite apocalypse movies. It is entertaining, funny and original. The acting is decent and the idea around it is presented in a way that makes you believe it is possible. I am not saying that the Earth's core could stop moving but I am not a scientist and if they think that only a series of underground nuclear explosions could jump start it then who am I to doubt it. They explained why it would work and the technology behind it and that is good enough for me.
DJ Qualls' character was really funny and reminded me a lot of many of the computer 'geek' friends that I have that think they are bad ass because they know computers.
All I can say is check this one out if you like apocalypse movies.

This movie sucks complete ass. The acting is terrible and the dialog is atrocious. Not to mention the lame ass "bad guy." And yet you didn't like 2001?
