I Don't Know How to Fight - I'm a Comedian

The newest film in the line by writer/director Judd Apatow leaves audiences with mixed emotions, filling the gaps between humor and tragedy. This film was brilliantly written, superbly acted, wonderfully crafted, and poorly advertised.
The film was publicized as the newest comedy, but "dramedy" would be more accurate, as the situations between all the characters are at the heart, complex. There is plenty of comedy, however, letting Adam Sandler, Jonah Hill, and Seth Rogan be themselves, hysterical. But at the very center of this film is a battle for happiness when there has been nothing but misery.
Miserable characters, though funny, are still miserable. How can someone experiencing pain make others laugh? This film explores questions such as those.
A great film, despite what others here on Filmcrave may think.
