The Secret Life of Pets is the bastard child of Toy Story but with animals as replacement. There's nothing new, creative or original about this movie. It's not bad, but it's not good. If you want to watch the movie just for the animation or the cute pets, then that's fine.
But hey, at least there's no Minions in this so that's good.
