C.H.U.D. (Creepy Horror Ultimately Disappointing)

I remember seeing the cover box for "Raw Meat", aka "Death Line", over the years in my video stores, but there was never anything that caused me to watch it. However, in recent research, it sounded like a "classic" British horror flick that I should see.
It just left me scratching my head, though. Hard to understand and murky, it was a disappointment. It's an odd movie that comes across highbrow, yet with some real gore thrown in. I guess I admire it's realistic approach from the viewpoint of the police. And the setup is intriguing.
But it just didn't come together for me in the end.
