Actorz Alert 002- Robert DeNiro comment

No one, not even my favorite All-Time actor Pacino has the body of work that Robert DeNiro has. He is my second most favorite actor and it was nearly impossible to rank his top ten works...from gangster roles, drama, thrillers and yes even comedy......Mr. DeNiro stands alone...........ya, I'm talking to you Bobby.

Leadin' Ladiez' 002- Julia Roberts comment

Ok, so I am not a HUGE Julia Roberts fan or anything- but the girl can act and the one thing you can definitely say about her is she has played the leading lady better than anyone and has been Hollywoods' "girl next door" over the past two decades (just edging Meg Ryan in that title IMO).....anyway, here are her best 10 acting works.........

Actorz Alert 005- Jack Nicholson comment

Jack has been doing movies now for over 50 years.......and even though I have not see much of his early work...what I have seen is why he ranks as one of my favorite performers of All-Time. It was very hard for me to pick just 10 movies...but I did my best..........

Actorz Alert 001- Al Pacino comment

Every once in awhile I will make an Actor's Alert entry where I will name one of my favorite actors and their best work will be ranked. Pacino is my all time favorite actor......Micheal Corleone, Sonny Wortzik, Tony Montana and Lt. Col. Frank Slade are just a few of his most memorable roles........he along with DeNiro are the absolute best in my book.........hardest part...choosing his ten best out of many many masterpieces....remember I rank these best on the performance of the actor in the …

Actorz Alert 008- Edward Norton comment

Someone who broke out in the 1996 thriller Primal Fear and has never looked back- he has quickly became one of my favorites. His work in that brealout role, The Score, American History X and Fight Club were nothing short of amazing....... I like the roles he has picked and I look forward to more of his work down the road.....remember I rank these best on the performance of the actor in the movie and not the movie itself.............

Directorz> Cut 004- Martin Scorsese comment

My next Director's Cut belongs to ..........Mr. Martin Scorsese.....I could make a case about him being the best director ever......I love so many of his movies it is really really hard to list the top ten. Obviously, his movies are usually pretty violent and he masters in the mobster variety....but he does it so so well that he is the ultimate "guys" director.

Directorz> Cut 010- Ridley Scott comment

Ridley Scott certainly is one of my favorite directors........whether he dips into the futuristic world, drama, action or his forte' (Military movies)...you are definitely going to be enthralled. My next Director's Cut lists my favorites of Mr. Ridley Scott.................tough call on #10 so I put a Jane/Gangster tie edging Body of Lies.......but here is to his coming soon new Crowe project.............Robin Hood.......

Directorz> Cut 006- Ron Howard comment

Every once in awhile I will do a Director's Cut Ranking where I will choose one of my favorite directors and rank my favorite movies of theirs......today it is Opie on Andy Grffith......Mr. Ron Howard.....note that I have not seen Frost/Nixon and am greatly looking forward to the Davinci sequal in Angels and Demons- both I am sure that will knock out The Missing and Splash from the rankings. One thing for sure, Richie Cunningham has come a long way since since mixing it up with the Fonz and …

RANKZ- All-Time Greatest Movies comment

Note that this list is subject to change- I am still trying to find movies that I have enjoyed over the years that have fallen between the cracks in my rating, also I have only watched a few 2008 and 2009 releases and two that I still have not seen and I have great anticipation for are "Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and "Gran Torino"...so this will definitely be a list that changes. Believe me when I say though that it is hard to crack my Top 100......with only two titles doing so in the …
