By-the-books actioner that has Gerard Butler do what he does best - glower and get out of impossible situations. The setting is at least appropriate given current events and the film does at least explore more than just shootouts and explosions with Navid Negahban, Bahador Foladi, Ali Fazal and Travis Fimmel turning in fine performances along the way. Still, the film kind of just meanders along and then hits you with a few big action set pieces. It gets the job done but that's about it.
