New Movies to Crave: Return to Wall Street, Owls and You Again

If anyone knows about greed being good, it's certainly Hollywood. But will audiences decide that a second time around that Wall Street will be a good bet?

1) I guess we'll see, but Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps looks to be the best new film opening. Even if you hate Shia LaBeouf by now, it will be good to see all the old players back in the game. I can't say I'm dying to see the film, but I wouldn't be totally against checking it out.

2) Battling for the top spot will also be the kid-friendly (and quite a mouthful of a title) Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. Hey, if kids like anthropomorphic penguins, toys and other assorted wild animals, why not owls? I guess it looks exciting enough and the animation does look crisp, but I don't know, owls seems like an odd choice, no matter how popular the books have been.

3) Finally, what looks to be another in a long string of mediocre romantic comedy types, You Again, also hits theaters. Despite having the red-hot-right-now Betty White there's nothing here that screams "must see" only more of the same slightly humorous, kinda entertaining but ultimately empty rom com.

4) Finally, for those wanting a more indie film, check out James Franco in Howl about the Allen Ginsberg poem that revolutionized a generation and put censorship on the map long before flag burning and crazy protesters could test it.
