"IF" has its sights set on being the next family-friendly instant classic, but it chugs along with the warmth of a piece of factory machinery. It needs a soul not to mention some better jokes and clearer direction.

While the plot is kind of all over the place, I have to say the film does have a lot of imagination going for it - along with a killer cast of voice talent - but plays things almost too nice for its own good. That being said, if you're looking for a feel-good family film, this will certainly scratch that itch.
