"...it is the things we love most that destroy us." The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is one of the biggest surprises of 2023 because I did not expect to enjoy it. I cared what was happening and liked that we saw a different side to Coriolanus Snow, so much so that I often forget he is the Antagonist. It's a tragic tale that we all know the ending to, but we watch anyway with foolish hope for everyone involved.
