Elisabeth Moss owns this film - and I don't think it would have worked as well with any other actress. While there certainly is an invisible man here, the film is more the emotional and physical toll abuse victims face, even long after said abuse has ended. Moss does an excellent job of conveying this - words, actions and expressions - even, if in this case, it's backed up by something real. It's horror, but based in reality - which makes it much more effective.

Effective psychological horror movie that successfully updates a classic science fiction story. Elisabeth Moss is very good in the lead role.

It's a better stalker film and depiction of psychological domestic abuse than it is an "Invisible Man" movie, but this reworking of the Universal classic is sickeningly unnerving thanks to great performances and A-grade production value.
