It's predictable yet surprisingly good for me. The second (or third) time Tom appeared, I knew what was happening, I basically just waited for the validation. I usually don't appreciate predictable plot but surprisingly, I enjoyed it more than I expected. This is no way near a brilliant or excellent filmmaking, but I guess the performances carried it enough to be entertaining and landed as a good Christmas movie. Some critics bashed its writing, yeah there are definitely some questionable turn of events, it appeared to be forced and other writing glitches but I would like to believe that a decent comedy would only require a good lesson in the end. And it did end that way.
