A mid-life crisis is presented in full glory - that just happens to take place on a wild, Greek island. If you are appalled by casual nudity, best avoid this, as a good portion of the film takes place on nude beaches. The life of Kostis (Makis Papadimitriou) is quite sad - you feel sorry for him, until he turns into a monster. No matter what, youth and beauty will not last forever and while there's nothing inherently wrong with trying to re-capture that spirit, taking it too far does have consequences.
